The Cubs just released their promotional items for this season:
There are some pretty fun player bobbleheads, including one of Ryne Sandberg’s statue, plus Clark the Cub plushies for the kids. There’s also this incredible Pat Hughes sweater shirt. Guess I’ll be planning a trip if I can.

After seeing the Cubs front office prattle on about the importance of character and then trade for Aroldis Chapman because their internal models showed he improved their World Series odds by 30%, I have my doubts.
On the whole I like to believe MLB isn’t quite as morally bankrupt as the NFL, but I think most teams would sign a terrible person if he’s a good enough player to be worth it.
