Series Preview: Chicago Cubs (46-42) at Chicago White Sox (41-43)

The Cubs have one last short series before the ASB, and will see some old farmhands in Eloy Jiminez and the newly promoted Dylan Cease. Cease is not expected to start, but with the break imminent who knows, he may get to face his old tema.

Brach leads in k/9. I would not have guessed that, and I cannot hide the degree to which it disturbs me.

    andcounting,

Technically it’s Maples but I disqualified him due to lack of innings / lack of interest in his continued existence in the Cubs org.

    berselius,

The hats for the 4th have been mostly hideous every year after the original navy ones in 2008.

Not quite as hideous as the camo ones they’ve been trotting out for Memorial Day for the last few years or so, but still gross.
