    1. Rice Cube,

The Packers old DC had to go anyway, but I think Lafleur/the packers FO was seriously wishcasting that Saleh was going to be fired at the end of last season and would be available to pick up. Famously, Saleh was the best man at his wedding.

    2. Lindor is going a long way to erase the (undeserved) meh reputation he’s had with Mets fans (dying laughing). Good thing he had a quiet 2016 postseason.

The qualifying offer in the 2024-25 offseason will be officially set at $21.05MM

      Re: QO candidates

There are a handful of slam-dunk QO candidates among this year’s crop of free agents. Juan Soto, Corbin Burnes, Alex Bregman, Willy Adames, Max Fried, Pete Alonso, Anthony Santander and Teoscar Hernandez will all assuredly receive a QO and are all overwhelmingly likely to reject in search of a multi-year deal. Other candidates to receive a QO include Sean Manaea, Luis Severino, Christian Walker, Jurickson Profar, Tyler O’Neill, Michael Wacha, Ha-Seong Kim, and Nick Martinez, though not everyone from that group will ultimately receive one.
