3.+% how much profit is this worth? Is it worth Walt’s life? I don’t think it is if no product at 99.+% is in the market.
So since Walt lives….how much time does one need to learn how to make that purity? I still don’t see how that time should buy Jesse’s life.

Kill the guy that has a problem with Gus’s decision. I still think Gus could’ve called Walt’s bluff about Jesse but that would hurt the show. Kill Jesse and Walt would still work if it saved his life.
I guess it makes more sense when you consider how implicated that guy was for Gale’s murder. Though we never saw Mike pass that info along to him. Whose cell called Gale’s?
I think it was Mike that called Gale’s cell. I’m a little blurry on the final moments of season 3 but I remember Mike calling someone after Walt said Gale’s address. I’m assuming he was calling Gale.
I’m assuming Gus didn’t know about Vic seeing the crime scene since Mike didn’t tell him face to face. That’s why I think killing Vic was b/c of Vic having a problem with the new situation.
Plus, Vic doesn’t come off as a guy that doesn’t want retribution for the death of someone near him in the organization that was ordered dead by Gus.
Also, the end of showed why your employer always wants your lab notebook to stay in lab. (dying laughing) Gotta get on those interns.

Wow. I knew there was something in this episode that apparently would blow your mind, but I did not see Gus doing that.
I think Walt would continue to work if Jesse was killed, but that’s a bluff that Gus probably wouldn’t want to take considering the amount of money that’s on the line.
I’m assuming when Mike called Gus that he told him Gus was seen at the crime scene.

Mike didn’t know what Walt said and he told him what was about to happen so Mike tried to warn him.

Walt has stood his ground in the past regarding Jesse too, so the thought that he may not cook may have been enough. I don’t know. It’s probably more that keeping Jesse alive helps improve the show.

I read an article that unlike past seasons this one is like the first episode all the way through. I can’t wait. If they’re nearly as good as this one was, I’ll be impressed.

Weird, because I heard earlier today that this season is going to be a bit slower, and we’ll see a lot more of the supporting cast. Supposedly Marie is going to have a lot more screen time than she has had in the past.

This is the first time I’ve watched the show live. Having commerical breaks is quite jarring (dying laughing)
Breaking Bad has always had a couple episodes each season where there’s not much going on. The fly episode was my favorite of those.

The first three episodes are all that AMC has sent out to the critics so far. I think I heard what I mentioned on a tv critic’s podcast.
I DVR’d it and started it right at 10 so I didn’t watch any commercials, but the breaks itself were different. The ones I’d watched before were all downloaded.
I missed the show and was anxious for it to start, but I had started to forget about how damn good that show is.

We recently ditched our dvr, and I’m not sure if I can take it. I have to be vigilant during commercials to make sure I don’t miss any of the show, and it’s really killing the mood for me.

I loved the check-in with Saul this episode too (dying laughing). He’s really climbing the walls. Was something going on with him last season that I’m forgetting that’s leading him to check for bugs, or is this just regular Saul?
Mike stopped by Saul’s office late in the last season and I seem to remember Mike hinting something about being watched. I’m not positive, but I do know Mike paid a not so friendly visit to Saul late in the season.

I prefer newsgroups and the nzb files, but it’s more complicated. I just stick the files on a flash drive and watch them on the ps3 as I don’t like watching stuff on a computer either.

b, do you use bittorent? That’s what I’ve used in the past. For the newsgroups I use Newzbin to download the files and a couple other apps to repair if needed and extract. The newsgroups are actually really easy once you figure it out, but it’s more complicated than torrents. I think you and I had this discussion before, didn’t we?

Yeah, I torrent since my ISP doesn’t do newsgroups. I use mutorrent for the client

If your ISP doesn’t allow newsgroups access then it’s not as easy. You can still do it, but it costs a small amount of money.

It’s all the same. Bittorrent is just a protocol, like FTP. There are a bunch of different clients you can use to manage it.
