I’m at the game now. Wind still seems to be blowing out to left, and it’s not too cool out.

Pretty fucking jazzed about this arrangement.

    Rice Cube:
I hope the Cubs remember that they’re good at baseball and score bunches of runs.

I hope they score bunches in the first three innings and bunches in the last three. We don’t want the game to go forever.

Javy stole home. This place might burst from all the cheering. This is fucking awesome.

IIRC, crowd was pretty sleepy last series.

    Not anymore.

    WaLi,

Yes and earlier he said announcers talk about teams being gritty and having no idea what it means. He then said the dodgers were gritty. He’s a fucking idiot.

Chapman gave up a single. The Cubs got screwed on some calls. But I asked that they score a bunch early and they score a bunch late. I think that happens.

Russell is in a slump. Rizzo is in a slump. Enough of this “trying to be the hero” bullshit, commentators. They are just in a slump. It’s baseball, dolt.

Seven is a lucky magic number. But in my lifetime, I have never seen four. Sure, it sounds like death in Mandarin, but I really like it as a magic number. Three more please, starting tomorrow with Hendricks’ perfect game.

Chapman with the rare “blown save despite positive WPA” appearance. He actually did OK, despite giving up the lead. Tough spot.

He was one batter away from being a postseason god.

Funny thing is if he had allowed two sac flies and a K, everybody would probably have said he did a great job.
