Why the fuck did Wood and Marmol pitch last night? I missed the last 2-3 innings because I fell asleep while watching it on my dvr.
In case you were wondering, the shortstops ahead of Starlin in those rankings were Tulo (not surprising) and Yunel Escobar.

Because John Grabow couldn’t hold a 7-run lead and Quade panicked. Wood only threw 10 pitches in a third of an inning and Marmol didn’t even break a sweat. It was still stupid in my opinion though.

Two points – how long has Castro been in the system, and what is the biggest flaw in his hitting and what has been done about it?
I’m not complaining about Starlin, but I’m going to still criticize the lack of good hitters this team spits out.

I also just remembered that there has been some discussion about how he is swinging at everything this season, and Rudy Jaramilo said they were working on ball/strike recognition without taking away his aggressive approach.
