Brett Jackson is batting .238 in AAA. He strikes out a third of the time he bats. There is still some work to do here. Vitters on the other hand had a good game going 3-4 with a BB, 2 SB and 2 RBI's. Vitters is having a Vitters season not really sucking but not doing well either.
Junior Lake went 1-4 and with the help of AGGRESSIVE BASE RUNNING! was promptly removed from the base path. Dae Eun Rhee had his first good start in quite awhile going 7.2 IP walking 1 and striking out 4 while not allowing a run.
Matt Szrzrzr was 1-3 when he took a pitch off the hand and had to leave the game. Word was that its not a major deal but we might see him miss tonights game. My K-State crush AJ Morris continues his injury comeback striking out 2 in his scoreless inning of relief. Tony Zych also worked a clean inning of his own.
The good news is Geraldo Concepcion got out of the first. The bad news is he walked 5 guys in those 4 innings while striking out 1 batter. I was optimistic that our scouts knew what they were doing but this thing has been a big bowl of FAIL so far. When you have 3 times as many runs allowed to strikeouts in 10 innings things aren't working. Ben Wells followed and gave up 2 ER in his 4 innings while striking out 3. Catcher Rafael Lopez went 2-3 and is now hitting .280 on the year.

Hasn’t slowed down LaHair. (dying laughing)

Shucks.
@ Marilyn Hagerty:
The site has one job and got it wrong?
@ josh:
Reading the “About Us” section of that site, it looks like they aren’t baseball people, and only have the site to whine if there is a home game…So it should say NO* (*they are away today)…Great use of domain space, I’m sure.
@ josh:
I think they only track home games on that site for folks who commute to and from the North Side.
Not to mention all those poor people who moved to Wrigleyville and were shocked – SHOCKED – to find that there was a major tourist attraction that had frequent events there.
@ Rice Cube:
Aaaah. That makes sense.
Oooh…burn.

@ Berselius:
There’s NIMBY, but is there an acronym for something that’s already in your backyard? (dying laughing)
