    Oh hello Obstructed View

As usual I’m late catching up on games that happened at 3AM UK time…

So tell me: are people over there talking about the fact that all the Red Sox position players are white and all the Tigers position players are non-white? I noticed it in the third inning of game 2 and couldn’t stop noticing it for the rest of the game. (NB that obvs I’m not counting DH as a position player)

Regarding the DC Sniper from the last thread:

I lived in Frederick, MD during those couple of weeks back then(which is about 30-50 miles from where all the shootings were taking place) and let me tell you that it was pretty fucked up around here. People were afraid to do anything outdoors. When they started posting pictures of him after they figured out who he was, it was determined that he was in a Sheetz gas station that is about 50 yards from where I worked back then and used to go to about 3 times a week. When they caught him in that rest area, I was coming back from a friends house and stopped at the eastbound rest area and he was caught in the westbound rest area. When he was arrested, they took him to the state troopers barracks which was also about a mile from where I worked and when I went to work that morning, there was about 100 news station vans and trucks at the barracks and I had no idea what was going on until somebody at work told me. You can’t even imagine what it’s like to do something like pump gas and wonder if you were about to be shot in the head. It was crazy.

    /Cool story bro’d

If the Cardinals play the Red Sox in the World Series, it will be the whitest World Series since the integration.

    Yankees-Diamondbacks was pretty damn white.

The yearly Alvin/Season Ticket Prices bitchfest has been posted. I won’t link to it, for fear of permanent ban-nation.

You gonna take the bait and chime in again this year, Aisle424? (dying laughing)

    @ Myles:

If memory serves, he posted there last year in response to Alvin’s ridiculous argument that the Cubs should lower season ticket prices so that season ticket holders could still make money. He was complaining that STHs wouldn’t make any money by selling tickets to game they couldn’t attend. Aisle424 responded appropriately.

I have repeatedly said — and do not ever tell me I believe otherwise — that building a strong organization from the ground up is a good thing.

Do not ever tell him that, you guys. He will fucking shank you if you try to even suggest that he has said otherwise. He will light this whole building on fire if you suggest otherwise. He will ban you if you tell him otherwise.

I got banned for encouraging someone here to post the sorority sister version of Alvin’s Open Letter into BCB’s comments directly. It was worth it.
