OSS: Sloppy defense by the Pirates and a little league HR for Kris Bryant

1. Addison Russell has reportedly been called up to the Cubs.
1a. Jake Arrieta recovered from a few hard hit balls in the first to mow down the Pirates for six innings. He finished with seven strikeouts and no walks.
2. Russell ————> Cubs
2a. Great game at the plate for Jorge Soler, who went 4-5 with hits to all fields, including a double to LF that had to have been clocked at Mach 1.2
3. My reaction to the Russell callup
3a. Not too shabby of a day at the plate for Bryant either, who went 3-4 with a walk and 3 RBI.

1. Pittsburgh fans with this stupid ‘woo’ bullshit that makes the stadium sound like it’s full of hyenas. My dogs were pretty pissed, I had to mute the tv to calm them down. It’s like a whole fucking stadium of Ronnie Woo Woos.
