Off-days can be boring. This post is for the ladies.

Shit I get in my email
‘SK’ – I usually don’t email you — but I have an amazing invitation I have to share. Jay and I will be meeting up with President Obama for an evening in NYC sometime soon. And we want you to be there! Until midnight tonight, if you pitch in $5 or whatever you can, you’ll be automatically entered to be flown out to join us. I’ve had the honor of meeting President Obama and the First Lady a few times — and believe me — it’s an opportunity you don’t want to miss. Don’t worry about the airfare and hotel, it’s taken care of. And you can bring a guest. But the countdown is on — this opportunity ends at midnight: https://my.democrats.org/Meet-Me-in-New-York Can’t wait to meet you! Love, BeyoncĂ©”

^^^^^^^^^ This is a comic I recently enjoyed.
I did not give my permission to use my likeness in this comic.
Nats didn’t talk to Stras’ doctor: http://mlb.sbnation.com/2012/9/13/3326738/nationals-didnt-consult-strasburgs-surgeon
@ Mercurial Outfielder: That led me to this article, in which small samples sizes are purported to have magnified value because of emotion:

@ josh:
So many words. So little content.
@ Mercurial Outfielder: How are Nationals fans not livid about the way this has been handled, start to finish?
I would imagine that many of them are.
@ Mercurial Outfielder: B-but DAVID ORTIZ. And TEAR FROM JIM LEYLAND.
What’s great is that it could just as easily be taken as satire.
@ Aisle424: How did you recognize the photo? I added a hat!
http://www.obstructedview.net/chicago-cubs/daily-facepalm-9-13-2012.html Facepalm. I added the comic because it’s awesome. And because I didn’t want to anger God.
As of today (via B-Ref), Joe Mather’s -2.2 WAR is basically the cushion the Cubs have over the Rockies for the #2 pick. He is useful after all.
