I like how the Brewers brought in a guy with 21 strikeouts in 51.2 innings to a bases-loaded, one-out situation.

Following on Game day in fits and starts while “travelling” on Delta. Every time I pull the app up, we have runners on base and only one run. Only the inning changes.

Heh—in the feed in the At Bat app, they have they have a video of fans misspelling SOLER, and the caption writer “mispells” misspell.

    Rizzo the Rat:
Seems unnecessary to bring Chapman in to get just one out with a three-run lead. But, whatever.

Wood could have walked that guy just as easily. And given up an infield single too.

That was nice. I prefer DH sweeps of inferior teams, as opposed to being swept by such inferior teams like San Diego. +201, 32 over. I like it.

SK: Yes indeed. BVS, how is the bug and/or plant professoring going down in the Cayman Islands?>

Proffing going well, but no longer in Puerto Rico. Huzzah. We joined the exodus when it was clear the best we could hope for from our pension was to recoup principle by leaving before we vested. Now in SC where I get to focus on forest research and watch the Pelicans about every other homestand.

IMO, having seen a number of Pelican games, Gleyber for Chapman was a good trade. I know he was a top prospect and young for high A, but I don’t think he’ll be much of a hitter.
