I was Chucks silent, more handsome collaborator on the Dead Cubbie Sketch. Al was my neighbor literally in the 90s and we were friendly if not friends. He defriended me on facebook i guess for pointing out that bill maher and keith olbermann were as misogynistic as rush limbaugh. Oh he also lost 3 dinner bets to me and paid off on none of them. I didn’t really care until Chuck told me that he plagiarized our sketch.
Here’s what I just wrote him via email:

It’s one thing for you to beg off on 3 bets you lost. It’s fine for you to decide that when i show you how wrong you are on political rhetoric that you defriend me on facebook. I mean who cares? You don’t know what you’re talking about in politics anymore than you did when you said the Tribune would never sell the cubs and then welshed on a steak dinner.
But now I come to learn from Chuck Gitles that you stole my dead cubbie sketch which I created and he posted starting in 2004. I think we actually did it earlier.
Regardless you stealing piece of crap, you take it down or acknowledge where it came from by 10 pm tomorrow or I will take my non practicing attorney self down to the daley center and pro se up a complaint in chancery court you clueless scumbag.
